Fireplace door or pellet hopper lid open - E0040.10

The E0040.10 alarm appears on Rika pellet stoves when the firebox door and/or the pellet hopper lid are open.

Solution

1. Close the firebox door and the pellet hopper lid
2. Acknowledge the error message

If the message remains displayed even though everything is closed, a contactor or magnetic switch may be malfunctioning: if the error reoccurs, a technician must be called.
