Communication fault motherboard - E00040000.10

The E00040000.10 alarm appears on Rika pellet stoves when the connection from the motherboard to the touch screen is interrupted.

Resolution

1. Let the stove cool down and unplug the power supply
2. Interrupt power to the stove for at least 10 seconds
3. Restore the power supply to the stove

If the error occurs again, a technician must be called in. The "Communication failure" error can also be caused by a cable break or a short circuit.
