Alarm AL 08

The AL 08 - NO DEPRESS alarm appears on KLOVER pellet stoves if the draught in the flue is insufficient or if the pellet reservoir hatch has been left open.

Resolution

  1. Check that the pellet reservoir flap (a " data-toggle="tooltip" data-placement="top" data-html="true">contact sensor is present) is closed properly and that the gasket is in good condition and firmly seated.
  2. Check that the 2 round magnets holding the pellet reservoir door are in good condition and that nothing is caught on them (which could block the door from closing properly).
  3. Check that the ashtray door is properly closed and locked.
  4. Check that the air intake at the rear of the stove is unobstructed.
  5. Press and hold the " data-toggle="tooltip" data-placement="top" data-html="true">ignition button on the remote control until the text "Final cleaning" appears.
  6. Wait approximately 10 minutes for the stove to complete its cleaning cycle.
  7. Clean the appliance: empty the ashes, clean the brazier and vacuum.
  8. As soon as "Off" appears on the remote control, you can restart the stove.

On an insert

Check that the insert is properly seated on its service rail. Push it into the chimney and tighten the 2 handles as far as they will go.

If the above solution doesn't work :

The pressure switch is not detecting the correct pressure when the appliance is operating. This may indicate that a fireplace element has opened/not closed completely, or that the flue pipe is clogged. Have your local chimney sweep check or clean your flue.
