Alarm AL 04

The alarm AL 04 - NO ENCODER appears on KLOVER pellet stoves when the smoke fan does not turn at the speed indicated by the tachometer.

In general, this is due to a foreign body blocking the rotation of the smoke fan (soot, animal, etc.). If the chimney sweep has not been done recently, it is advisable to ask the chimney sweep to come and see what is going on.

It is often possible to access the smoke fan in a relatively simple way, on the stoves a closed trap with 2 screws is present on the front below the ash pan, by opening it it is possible to suck the contents of the fan.

If this is not conclusive, it is possible that the fan or the tachometer is defective, therefore the intervention of a technician is necessary.
