A18 Alarm

The A18 alarm on MCZ pellet stoves has a different meaning depending on the type of appliance:

Resolution

For an air stove

It can indicate two things:

1. There is too much air flow: check the pellet tank seal on the top of the unit. If it is in poor condition or torn, it must be replaced.
2. Electronic problem: The intervention of a technician is necessary to diagnose it precisely.

For a hydraulic heater

Check the water temperature sensor and reset it if necessary. This may also be due to a lack of or a drop below 0.2 bar in water pressure.
