As imposing as it is minimalist, the Antéfocus fireplace was Dominque Imbert\'s first creation in 1967, initially for his personal use during a long and harsh winter.
Despite its international success, the Antéfocus fireplace continues to be produced individually, by hand with its visible welds and waxed steel patina. The first creation of the designer Dominique Imbert for his personal use, it bears the name of Antéfocus because it was his creation that prefigured the birth of the Ateliers Focus.
The originality of this work of art lies in its very large hearth of nearly two meters, which can accommodate logs of exceptional dimensions. Although the design of this fireplace may now look a bit vintage, its clean lines make it a very contemporary open fireplace. Its steel structure will find its place in the most classic interiors to the most assertive industrial styles.
